Vancouver GrUE
The international renowned GrUE is coming to Vancouver on March 2nd-4th 2012 for the second time.
What is a GrUE? A GrUE is a kind of unconference that is participant driven and self-organizing. Instead of imposing a firm schedule with classes set in stone, it is generated by us. Presentations, discussions, skill shares or fun exploring are all things you will find. The GrUE brings you the opportunity to learn, grow, share, discuss and explore topics that you are passionate about. What are you passionate about? Topics have ranged from gender, D/s, rope, taboo play, impact play, polyamory, negotiation and anything else that we want. There is room for it all at the GrUE!

The Vancouver GrUE is made up of:
- Friday night: Meet & Greet – TBA
- Saturday: GrUE at Maritime Labour Center (1880 Triumph Street) – Times to be announced later – lunch is included with your ticket.
- Saturday night: MVK Play Party (1880 Triumph Street) – 8pm to 1am – $20 admission
- Sunday Morning: Graydancer’s World Famous Cheap-Ass Pancakes – TBA
If you came last year, we have secured a bigger and better venue to allow more room. We are using the same venue as MVK and the GrUE party will be the MVK one. MVK is also helping us out by letting use their equipment!
Everyone 18 and older welcome (you do have to be 19 to attend the party but everything else you can attend). You can also check out the Vancouver GrUE fetlife group for discussions and the previous year info. Tickets are on track to sell out this year, get them soon.
You can buy your tickets from the Eventbrite page, meeting me in person or Interac Money Transfer (message me for my e-mail address). No tickets will be sold at the door and once we sell out, no more tickets will be sold.

So is there interest in the discussion i broached? I just don’t know how this works. I do have a double booking so need to know if there is interest, if there is a time etc. so i can make my plans.
I believe there is and will be. How it works is that on Saturday during the opening, we all sit around and post on sticky notes or paper what we want to present or talk about and go from there. We make time for what we want to hear, there are multiple tracks at a time. Does that help?
