May MVK was really quiet for me. I got really sick on Thursday with a cold/fever and spent the majority of Thursday, Friday and Saturday in bed and on my couch. I was hoping to be better for the unconference but unfortunately my body wasn’t going to have it.
PG called me as he was volunteering for the whole night and was starting to feel sick too. He wanted to check in and see how I was doing and if I was feeling better. I was a bit better but didn’t want to push it though so I thought I would stay home. I wished him a goodnight and to feel better. After I hung up, I thought that I wanted to help him out and give him some support since he was starting to feel sick too. It sucks having to volunteer when you are feeling like crap. I was feeling a bit better, wanted out of the house plus S was going to MVK and I wanted to spend time with her too.
We got to MVK just before 10pm and after seeing PG, socializing, and catching up a bit, S and I decided to practice some ties together from the Complete Shibari , which was really fun. PG would come by and help us when we would get stuck and show us little tricks. I’m looking forward to doing that again.
Afterwards I hung out with PG, giving him a massage and just watching the scenes take place until it was time to go home. A bit of socializing with others and it was time to go home. It was nice car ride home, just spending a bit of time together, hugs and holding hands.
Even though it wasn’t the most action pack MVK and I was still feeling a bit sick, it was a great time socializing, learning and spending it with two very important people in my life.
