Time apart

Tonight, I was cuddling up and watching a movie when I started thinking about PG and our time apart. He is currently away on vacation and what I’ve noticed is that the longer we are together and the closer we get, the harder the time apart is. For some reason, I thought we would be able to come up with a magical solution that makes it a lot easier. Unfortunately, we haven’t and I don’t think there is one.

We found tools that help and that makes it easier but it’s a bit hard as the majority of the time he goes away, he can’t communicate as he goes off on wilderness trips which means, no skype or even regular calls. Pre-email task help and staying busy on our regular date nights but it’s a balance. I find it easier when I’m away but it makes sense as I’m away from the routine and the vast majority of my trips, I have internet and phone access.

It’s a good sign that partners miss each other and getting away is criticial but I’m curious, does anyone else have any tips that works really well for them?

Exploring my puppy side.

A grass lawn, a private backyard and a kink party led me to doing my first puppy play outdoors. It was a lovely afternoon surrounded by friends and after enjoying some social time, we decided to head to another part of the lawn that was a bit more quiet, allow us to play and not get in others way.

The water bowl was filled with water and I went onto my knees as he slid the choke collar on me. We played around with fetching the ball, training me on walking, being a good pet and following his lead. He also spent some time grooming, feeding and allowing me to be playful puppy. When I go into puppy space with him, everything else becomes non existent and all I want to do is do what I’m ordered to do to the best of my puppy knowledge, play around and be a cute puppy.

I love how puppy play makes me feel and how it allows me to connect with him. It lets us shut off the world and all that matters to me is simple needs, playing fetch, getting petted and treats.

Another perk is it’s incredibly simple in terms of the gear, we don’t have a lot at this stage. We have a water and food bowl, ball,  bone, choke collar, regular collar and a grooming glove. It’s not an expensive activity to do and some of my favourite times are with none of them at all. You don’t need the expensive gear but you can.

Eventually, we would like to get some of the more expensive toys but right now, we are quite happy. I don’t know any other female puppies in person but there are some great videos on Kink Academy (I don’t get paid anything for these links, I just love the site and think it’s a great resource.)

Underwear Affair 2011

Yesterday, PG and I participated in the Underwear Affair to raise money and awarness for cancers below the belt. It was fun and lots of money was raised for a good cause. We have some great fundraising ideas for next year which involves bending over and taking a spanking. If you want to join my team, please contact me.

The reason I wanted to post was to remind people to get checked out and for female bodied folks, get a pap every year and male bodied folks over 45 to get a prostate exams. It’s worth taking the time to get checked out as it’s better that they find it early. Wouldn’t you want your partner, family and friends to get checked? Spread the word and get checked yourself.

Lube Review: Intimate Organics Hydra

I have to admit this, I don’t use lube that often. I’m always packing it when I go away and I have plenty in my closet and bedside but when it comes time to be intimate, I tend to get lost in the moment. I’ve been trying to be better as I do enjoy the extra slickness that it brings and it makes jumping into a solo session more enjoyable. It also necessary when you are using condoms, gloves and dams. I’m jumping back into the poly dating world again so lube will be more important in my future. I find with someone I’m fluid bonded with, I tend not to use it often.

Intimate Organics

The reason why I wanted to try an Intimate Organics product is the use of natural ingredients and what it didn’t have. I wasn’t sure if it would stand up to other lubes but it has and I like being able to quickly google the ingredients that I didn’t know. (Aqua, Propylene glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Methylisothiazolinone, Phenethyl alcohol, PPG-2-Methyl ether, Water, Alcohol, Certified organic goji berry fruit extract, Certified organic lemon grass leaf/stem extract, Certified organic aloe leaf extract) The scary sounding ingredients have been tested and used in others soaps and cosmetic products for years. It doesn’t contain any glycerine, parabens, DEA or animal products, a vegan lube. I stay away from glycerine in my lube as it can cause yeast infections and makes the products stickier. Lately, I’ve been trying to stay away from parabens as they can cause irritations and other health issues.

None of these ingredients will matter if you don’t like it or it doesn’t perform up to your standards. Luckily for me, it does pretty well.  It’s not perfect but I like it. I found the Hydra on the thinner side, I personally prefer something thicker for anal but for non-anal uses it wasn’t an issue. I liked the fact that it wasn’t runny when you put it on your toys and that it generally stays put.  It mixed well with my own fluids and I didn’t get that sticky feeling that I hate with other lubes. It felt natural and smooth, it would of been difficult to tell that it was lube and that I wasn’t soaking wet. The taste and smell wasn’t to my liking though, it  is difficult to describe but it was a medical/flower type smell. I wouldn’t use it if I planned on going down on someone immediately but for toy, vaginal and anal penetration, I like it.

Intimate Organics Hydra is a water based lube which means it’s safe to use with any of your toys and safe sex supplies. Feel free to grab your silicone dildo, your fingers, a cock etc. and have some fun.  I would recommend trying out Intimate Organics Hydra compared to any lubes that have glycerine or any other parabens in it. Overall, I would give it 3 out of 5 stars.

A wilderness weekend with PG

Relaxed, perfect and oh so happy. Last weekend was perfect. PG surprised me with a kayaking and camping trip to a local island in BC. I couldn’t wait and was jumping around, excited for days before.

He took care of pretty much everything as he is an experienced kayaker and this would be my first time doing a kayak and camping trip. The trip was perfect and we were able to connect without any other distractions or obligations.  Barely any cell phone use, no landlords or neighbours to worry about or computers. Our to do list was simply each other.

The first evening was lovely with a fire being started after we set up camp. We did the traditional hot dogs and the most delicious mint s’mores while we relaxed before retiring in for the night. Sleeping naked together with him keeping me warm, simply rolling over and fucking me and using me as he wished made for a restful and happy sleep. There is something to be said about waking up in the outdoors with someone you love. I’m not sure how we pulled ourselves out of bed but we did. I was all smiley and full of cuddles and kisses as we made breakfast and enjoyed coffee.

We spent the Saturday hiking, stopping for outdoor blowjobs and upon our return to the campsite, PG set up a portable shower for us to use. It was a unique experience showering with the branches and bushes but it allowed us to stay clean while being dirty. We couldn’t wait to jump into the tent and have some fun.

Kayaking weekend

I’ve been bouncing around for over a week right now as I’m heading off with PG for a weekend getaway. Our first kayaking/camping weekend away for two nights. We aren’t sure how much privacy we will have but we are hoping for some. We packed some toys and a gag, just in case. I love the feeling of waking up and snuggling outside, having a cigar and drinks and just relaxing with him. It’s going to be great, I’ll be back around later on Sunday and catch up on e-mails and some blog posts then. I still have my wedding kidnapping scene to share :)

Double team

The other week, we had a fun evening out with a friend. We went out for sushi and then back to her house for some fun. SEAF: Seattle Erotic Art Festival

May is just flying by and as you have probably noticed, I haven’t been spending much time inside writing. My calendar has been busy but it’s been a great month full of fun, orgasms, giggles and more.

Last weekend, I headed down to Seattle for the Seattle Erotic Art Festival which was filled with a lot of happy memories and even some new experiences. We ended up leaving on Thursday and went straight to the Grind at the Centre. It was a fun ride down but a bit longer due to an accident before the border. I saw many pieces that I wish I could have purchased but as a celebration for a recent accomplishment at work, I allowed myself to get one print within a certain budget. I ended up finding something at the store. I ended up purchasing this beautiful print of a female body in water with parts of her outside. It’s from Crystalline Photography and I’m looking forward to getting it framed and up in my house.

Friday was spent  hanging out with T & S, running errands with them before meeting up with Gray and his friend for coffee. We hung out there, checked out the art for a bit and then heading back to T & S to enjoy dinner, smoke a cigar and get ready for the party.

They have a lovely patio and it’s an enjoyable place to  have some whisky, talk, smoke and relax. There is something about enjoying a cigar with friends that fills you with warmth and relaxing smiles. It was a lovely afternoon and thanks everyone for your company.

Later that night we ended back to SEAF,  it was busier but I was able to check out more art that I wasn’t able to earlier and had a great bartender which gave me a great deal, danced and saw some people who I don’t get to see as often.

Saturday we rested a lot and had tons of downtime to hang out and catch up before heading to SEAF again. I really enjoying hanging out with both of them, I only wish we lived closer. I completely forgot what we did for food but we headed back to SEAF to browse again. Later that night, we had a group cigar smoking outside with about 8 of us. Once we got back, I headed to the other end of the venue which was quieter and watch people get introduced to bondage.

Sunday was a more up in the air day trying to figure out when we were heading back but I ended up heading to SEAF to watch one of the short film collections called, “Let’s talk about sex.” which was a grouping of various films. There was a great one called,”Piss” and another one which I forgot the name to. I joined T & S for dinner before we headed to the SEAF afterparty at the Centre. It was enjoyable watching people play, catching up with some people I meant to this weekend and having some fun keeping someone in a cage.

Goodbye Capri Hall!

Last Saturday was MVK and the last night at the Capri Hall. I’ve been to most MVK’s parties there and it was also the site of the Vancouver GrUE.
