Last year around this time, I was stressing out about the GrUE. The logistics and how the event was going to go was on the top of my mind. This was the first public event I was organizing and I wanted everything to go smoothly.

This year, I’m a lot more relaxed and ready to get going. Vancouver is a tough city to plan an event with but I worked with MVK again (great BDSM organization) and they allowed me to rent out their venue for the day. Everything else fell into place and after disappointing news that YWCA cancelled our booking due to the type of event we are, friends offered their house so we could all enjoy pancakes and downtime afterwards. I also have some great volunteers which will make it smoother. I’m learning to delegate a bit more.

Everything is pretty much done besides final numbers to the caterers and running around shopping a couple of days before. I can’t wait till March 2nd when I pick up a bunch of people from the train station  and then wait a  couple of hour till the meet and greet. Bounce, bounce.

If you want to grab a ticket – check out the fetlife event link for more info or the eventbrite page.
