Review: Lelo Mia

Ever since I saw the Lelo Mia, I knew it was something that I wanted to try. The Lelo Mia is a cute, lipstick shaped vibrator that charges by your computer USB port. It’s great for travelers and others as you don’t have to worry about batteries or cords. I always have trouble remembering to recharge my batteries and plugging it into my laptop works for me.

The Lelo Mia is a 4.5″ x .75″ and fits comfortably in my hand with room to spare. The Mia is similar to other smaller vibrators by providing pinpoint vibrations. It does that effectively but if you aren’t a fan of that, the Mia probably isn’t right for you. If you do, the Mia makes a great on the go addition to anyone.

The Mia has a continuous setting which ranges from a soft touch to a decent vibrator setting. It also comes with 3 pulsation sensation which can be accessed by releasing and holding down the (+) sign. The pulsation vary in speed and if you ever want to go back to the continuous setting, simply press the (-) key. It’s easy especially since I need to highest continuous setting to get off.

One feature that I love is that you can lock the Mia by pressing down the (+/-) key and press them both down again to turn it back on. It’s handy for when you are on the go and don’t want it to accidentally turn on. It’s not the strongest vibrator but it’s enough to get me off if I haven’t been using the Hitachi consistently but it does take a bit more time then I would prefer. I would like to have it a bit stronger for quicker orgasms on the go.

The Mia is made out of ABS plastic which means that it is hard material. It does have silicone covering the controls and by the USB though. I didn’t try the Mia with silicone lube due to this as I didn’t want to risk damaging my traveler companion. I wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing this toy with others since it can’t be sterilized. You can clean it easily with toy cleaner or with a damp cloth with soap. Be careful not to get water by the USB as it’s not. The lid can come off easily when playing or cleaning and it can be a bit of an annoyance but it didn’t hinder my use of it dramatical. The Mia is pretty quiet and if you are using a private bathroom, no one would be the wiser.

Mia is perfect on the go and even if it’s not perfect I enjoy bringing it with me for those times that I need to get off discreetly. It comes with a 1 year warranty, manual, USB extension and beautiful packaging.
