Review: Princess by RubyGlass21

Glass toys have an appeal to me. The way they are crafted, the colours, swirls and versatility. The Princess has all those qualities and more. I’ve never owned such a beautiful toy. The Princess is made by RubyGlass21, who makes high quality glass toys. I haven’t heard any negative publicity about their quality or customer service.

The toy is a mixture of pink and 24kt gold fumed into the pink. The shaft of the toy has pink hearts along it and the head has a leaf design. Within the pink, you can see the hints of gold when you move it with the light and adds an elegance to it.  I couldn’t be happier with the appearance of it but there is more to toys then just the looks. I still can’t believe I have a toy that has gold in it.

When it comes to performance, the Princess worked perfect for me. As most people know by now, you can use glass toys in temperature play by placing it in warm or cold water. I tend to prefer cold but that’s just me. The bend in the shaft allowed my g-spot to be stimulated and combined with a bullet on my clit, the orgasms were intense. It didn’t work for vaginal or clitoral orgasms or provide the feeling of being filled up however that is not the purpose of it and it does an excellent job with providing a hard surface for G-spot play. If that’s what you enjoy in a G-spot toy, this would be a great fit. Besides temperature play, one of the best things about glass is that I can use silicone lube with it or any lube that I have handy.

Comparison of the Lelo Ella, Princess and Tantus Goliath

The Princess is 7″ in length and approximately 1″ in diameter. The hearts do add a bit of thickness and according to their website adds about 1/6″ to the diameter.  To clean you can use soap and water, anti-bacterial cleaner or a 10% bleach solution. To sterilize, you can simply put in a dishwasher (top self and no soap) or boiling water . Be careful with the boiling water and glass. A friend recently passed this information on in terms of glass toys. Insert the toy into room temperature water, raise the temperature with the toy in and then turn off the heat and let the water return to a normal temperature. I don’t have a dishwasher at home and I’m a tad anal about cleaning my toys so this info was greatly appreciate.

A couple of things to note, the Princess didn’t come with a cushy case but that can be purchased separately. As well, mine was never able to stand up without leaning against something else.
