Sextoy.com was nice enough to allow me to test out the affordable Pyrex Glass Butt Plug, which is just one of their anal sex toys. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I haven’t done a lot of anal play lately, so I’m not as receptive as I used to be (and will be again soon.) Butt this is a good thing, ‘cos it lets me experience the perspective of someone new to anal play for this review.
The Pyrex Glass Butt Plug by Don Wands comes packaged in a protective padded fleece drawstring bag and a sample of water-based lubricant. At 3 inches in length and 1.75 inches at its widest, it’s small enough to be unintimidating to derriere debutantes while still being big enough to stimulate the more experienced.
Pre-insertion, I warmed up with a couple of orgasms to make sure I was hot and relaxed. I lathered on a lot of lube and went for it. Working the widest part of the “cone” into myself took a lot of time and lube, but once I was over that and into the tapered bottom end, it felt wonderful. It’s small enough that it was very comfortable and could be left in long term.
The thing I love about Pyrex is how it allows temperature play: you can put it warm or cold water prior to use, depending on what sensation you’re in the mood for. I also like how safe and easy it is to clean: it can be boiled, and/or wiped down with any sex toy cleaner. Its smooth, non-absorbent surface won’t retain lube, body fluids, or odors.
With the swirl of warm red and yellow colours in its tip, this plug looks like glass art. If you were really daring, you might put it on your coffee table among the other objects d’art, and watch to see which of your guests smiles knowingly.
Size queens may find this compact plug a bit underwhelming. And it doesn’t flex to bend with you the way silicone plugs do. Whether that’s a pro or a con is a matter of personal taste. Personally, I like that unyielding rigidity in my ass. Pyrex is my favourite type of materials for sex toys.
At $15 for a quality, cleanable butt plug with its own protective packaging, this product delivers excellent value. If you’ve been Pyrex-curious, but haven’t wanted to sink big bucks into a toy you weren’t certain about, you can take the plunge for little coin. It’s a great piece of glass.

You are dead on! I have used that plug and love it. Pretty much the cheapest glass butt plug out there, but certainly not cheaply made. It does deliver!
