Review: Jenna Loves Pain

I think it’s pretty obviously that I’m a big fan of BDSM porn.  Babeland recently was kind enough to allow me to  watch and own Jenna Loves Pain. I couldn’t help to jump at the chance to watch it and get off with it.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a mainstream BDSM film. Jenna Jameson is famous in adult entertainment but how would she shape up when it comes to viewing one of my favourite activities.

Jenna Loves Pain features Jenna Jameson, Amber Michaels, Ava Vincent, Emily Marilyn, Dru Berrymore, Fujiko Kano, and Nina Hartley.  It’s written and directed by Ernest Greene and produced by Club Jenna. Overall,  I enjoyed certain aspects of it. However, I viewed it as a mainstream movie with it missing the appeal that my usual BDSM porn provides me with.

There are certain aspects of the movie that turned me off. These included the special effects which featured flashbacks, voice overs and lighting. The commercials at the beginning and technical errors in terms of BDSM skills also got annoying as time went on.  However, I tend to be pretty critical when it comes to watching porn and putting that out there.

On the positive side, Jenna Loves Pain is a great intro for those who are new to viewing or exploring BDSM.  It allows them to see if it is something  that may turn them on or allow them to discover new things that they may want to try. My favourite scene in the movie was the one with Nina Hartley dominating Amber Michaels. Nina is an expert and her experience and sexuality really shines as she uses the riding crop, forced oral, flogging and use of suction cups. In the other scenes we see Jenna dominating Fujiko Kano (who is a cutie), Dru Berrymore dominating Jenna, Emily Marilyn hurting Ava Vincent ass with Jenna joining in and other girl on girl action. In Jenna Loves Pain, there isn’t any full on girl on girl action however vibrators are used (non-penetration) but the main focus is on BDSM activities.

Overall, Jenna Loves Pain was interesting but it won’t be a porn DVD, I would turn to get off on over and over again. Besides the main feature, the special features are worth it for the DVD alone. My favourite was the extra Ernest Greene Documentary: Learn The Ropes which features him talking about the movie, giving some tips about various BDSM activities and demonstrates with his partner Nina Hartley.
